A question, with all the 3rd world problems we continually hear about, what ever happened to the 1st and 2nd World? Who or what are they??
For those folks and police associations that are against red light cameras-why?? They protect drivers from the morons that feel that the red doesn't apply to them. I have seen, and worked, to many intersection accidents to find any validity to the nay sayers. Go cry to someone who might listen-if you run the red you pay. The only ones who are against it are those who might feel that they don't have to pay attention. Not to mention the cops, some are for it some against, but those against are just looking to put in more officers or over-time. And all the BS about the cameras will cause rear end accidents, even if that were true, I would rather have a minor rear end accident than a full force T-Bone at the intersection.
Here in St. Louis there is supposed to be a rally on 4/18, of those wonderful citizens who follow the swastika. We, the people, Jews and all others, should unite and flush these vermin down the sewer that they so deserve. Sorry but this is where I draw the line with the 1st Amend. These sub humans don't deserve the protection afforded by the Constitution let alone the right to rally.
It is time for Illinois to get on board with all the other 48 states and approve concealed carry of firearms. As you may have noticed after all these years, the wild shoot outs in the street have not materialized. Get with it.
Once again that poor excuse for a Senator, that embarrassment to the people who elected him, Barney Frank is at it again. Barney, since when is not paying taxes just a minor infraction. If I did it I would have my assets frozen and seized, sent a bill with excessive interest and penalties, but if one of those with whom you court favor does it, it is just a minor infraction. I wonder what excuse the IRS will let me use-the Geithner or Frank excuse?? We don't by it out here in the real world Barney!! My only hope is that you get un reelected, and soon. Take the other two embarrassments with you-Pelosi and Reid.

Today during testimony Geithner said "We have to watch how the economy evolves," when questioned about whether the administration would let the increases take effect if the economy had not recovered in two years. This from a man who cant even follow simple directions and answer questions posed from Turbo Tax. Would you trust him to "watch how the economy evolves"???
On the good news side: A court in Baghdad convicted an Iraqi journalist of assault Thursday for hurling his shoes at George W. Bush and sentenced him to three years in prison. He is lucky that the Secret Service didn't kill him on the spot after the first shoe. I still don't understand why no security got to this major moron before the second shoe. I wonder what would have happened had that occurred here in the U.S. to either the President or a foreign guest.

More hot news-current update
So much has happened since the last update, so here we go!!
Politics: So much with so little time don't forget that the elections of 2010 are not far off. Once again I see the cowards of the IRA strike again at unarmed unsuspecting soldiers and civilians in their fruitless attempt at ending the peace.
Mexico should go on the offensive with extreme prejudice attacking the drug slobs where they live-at their homes. The US should give Mexico, if they don't have some already, a couple of missile firing drones. Combine the surprise explosion and demise with a couple of air assaults on their homes should have a sobering effect. They don't care about civilian life, so retaliation should take out whom ever is located within the mansions and houses of the cartels. Even follow the Israeli way of targeting their vehicles.
Obamas grey hair: First of all who really gives a crap about that. Is there not anything more important to write about considering our problems here with the economy?? Or have you heard there is a war being fought on two fronts that we never hear about. Maybe the grey hair came when Obama found out the real story after he took office, in stead of the dribble he spoke about during the election. Notice how many of his anti-Bush statements have remained in place.
Cuba: Please explain to me why we do not have relations with Cuba? We could be trade partners and more which would marginalize the creeps to the south of there. If we can be friendly with the likes of North Korea, China, Russia, and even North Viet Nam surely we can suck it up and work with Cuba. After all they did nothing to us the likes of which the others have done.
Rush: I agree with Rush as I would bet most, at least 50%, of the people do. I also hope Obama fails. His failure means that my country will not have to suffer with his, their, socialist ideals and ideas. His failure means that the GOP, and conservatism, will come back to power all that much sooner. Explain to me who in their right mind would vote for someone and a party that tells you up front that they will raise your taxes, take your money to give to those that do not deserve it or have not earned it, and that you should smile about or you are unpatriotic.
Pelosi and Reid: just keep in mind you two power hungry hypocrites, what goes around comes around and it will come around a lot sooner than you think. 2010 is just around the corner. You cant even keep your own members in line. Your days are numbered and hopefully those who vote will see through you.
On the entertainment front: Radiohead, get over yourself. Miley has so much more class than you will ever have, and will be successful for a lot longer than you could ever hope to be.
